Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What’s the plan for the day?
We’re keeping things simple and relaxed! We’ll have a small ceremony at a local park in the afternoon, followed by a dinner party and reception at our house. Some of you are joining us for both, and some only for the reception — either way, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Q: How do I know which part I’m invited to?
Our RSVP form will automatically show the event(s) you’re invited to. If you only see the reception, that means we’re saving the ceremony for a smaller group — but we’ll be so happy to have you at the main celebration!

Q: What should I wear?
Dress in something you feel great in! Visit the attire page on this website for more information. Please skip white and anything close to it so our outfits can stand out a bit.

Q: Is there parking at the venues?
There will be parking at the ceremony location. Parking at our house for the reception will be difficult. We recommend that you uber/lyft or carpool.

Q: Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?
Our guest list is pretty small, so please only bring the people listed on your invitation. If you’re unsure, just reach out and ask!

Q: What’s the food situation?

We will be having delicious pizza, salad and sides!

Q: Will there be drinks?
Of course! We’ll have wine, beer, and nonalcoholic options at the reception.

Q: What time should I arrive?
If you’re attending the dinner party, please arrive at 5:00 PM~ no pressure to be right on time. Ceremony guests will receive separate details about timing and location.

Q: Can I take photos or post on social media?
Please feel free to take photos during the reception! We’d love to see them later. For the ceremony, we’re keeping it unplugged so we can be present in the moment. Our wonderful friend Zöe will be taking film photos of the whole evening.

Q: Are toasts welcome?
Very much so. We’ve set aside an hour to linger over stories, blessings, and kind words — they’re our favorite part of every wedding we’ve been to. If you feel moved to speak, we would be honored. Please visit the Toasts page for more information!

Q: Are gifts expected?
Your presence is truly the best gift! If you’d like to contribute something, we’ve set up a registry for our first home fund on our registry page.
